Raymond has 2 dairy farms. A nephew has cows on the home farm and his son has the cows on the 2nd farm. He grew up on a dairy farm and was married in 1989. He and his wife Verna have 8 children. As a teenager, he worked at a local metal fabrication shop for two years. Following that, he worked for a milk equipment dealer for several years. He then began a dairy herd on a milk share program and the owner of the farm provided the forages. He bought his own farm in 1998 and milked cows till 2018.
Raymond has been very instrumental in the development of the creamery. He is very passionate about developing a local milk market so young families can continue to support themselves from small family farms. This has been an encouragement to continue pressing forward. He is preparing to be the plant manager.
