Jerry Stewart

Bath, NY

Jerry along with his wife Amy and two children, Hannah and Connor operate a small dairy farm in Bath NY. Jerry also is the owner of Balanced Biological Solutions LLC, which is a mineral company he started 13 years ago. His focus has been on helping farmers build their soils and herds to become more profitable. Jerry is the “visionary” in the group. As a young boy he vividly remembers the struggles of farmers trying to make ends meet. In the back of his mind he felt someday I want to do something to help the farmers. After college he became a produce manager at a large farm market. Here he learned a lot about working with employees and customers. He also got his feet wet in the produce business. After that he became a counselor and farm manager of a local boy’s home. Here he learned more about improving his people skills and learned about management. While the farm manager he learned and taught about good stewardship to the boys in dealing with the animals and fields. The drive to have his own farm helped him to start milking cows. He also started a side business through his many connections. The side business found him purchasing cream from the prison farms in NY getting it processed into butter and selling it in large volumes and some of it ended up in the White House. After having to pause everything because of his daughters’ premature birth he stopped milking for 6 months and worked for north east dairy services as a route specialist selling dairy supplies to many farmers in Western NY. Here he learned more about sales and marketing. After that he jumped back into farming and marketing his jersey genetics until health reasons forced him out. It was at this time he went to work at a large dairy and continued pondering the idea of why are we seeing so many health problems in cows. That was when he was introduced to Restoralife minerals. He began experimenting with the products and was amazed at the results. It was at this time he started BBS LLC. Piece by piece this story has been unfolding. Jerry has helped bring great “vision” to this group. He is heading up our sales and marketing division at Sweet Acres Creamery and has been providing many good contacts from people throughout his life. These people have been a great help in our development process.
